**Leasing Agent Position - Residential Property Management**
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team in Southeastern Wisconsin, where we are proud to be one of the fastest-growing residential property management firms in the area. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a vital role in marketing and showcasing our available properties, which include single-family homes, duplexes, quadplexes, and small apartment buildings. This position also offers the potential for growth into real estate sales.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct rental market analysis and property price assessments to ensure competitive listings.
- Capture high-quality photographs and create engaging rental listings using our advertising syndication software.
- Respond promptly to inquiries about rental listings and schedule appointments to show available units.
- Clearly explain the application process to prospective tenants and guide them through it.
- Process background and credit checks for applicants to ensure a thorough vetting process.
- Prepare and execute all leasing documents, ensuring a smooth lease signing experience.
- Collect first month's rent and security deposits from new tenants.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections to maintain property standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to property owners, prospective residents, and current tenants.
**Qualifications:**
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a Wisconsin Real Estate Salesperson or Broker's License.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with landlord and tenant rights and responsibilities as outlined by the Wisconsin DATCP.
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing Laws.
- Comfortable and skilled in face-to-face sales interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Proficient in online business tools such as G-Suite or Microsoft Office, as well as other relevant software.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Open, honest, trustworthy, and dependable character.
- A positive, energetic attitude and a collaborative team spirit.
- Motivated and driven to succeed in the real estate field.
**Compensation and Work Environment:**
- This is a full-time position with hourly pay, along with move-in and lease renewal bonuses.
- The office is located just outside downtown Milwaukee in the Menomonee Valley, and this position is not remote.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
