Staff Accountant (Hedge Fund)
A leading $10B+ hedge fund in Boston is seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time, on-site role (5 days/week). Compensation is $75,000–$90,000 base + 10% bonus . The firm manages private investment funds focused on global fixed-income markets with more 150+ employees.
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for domestic and international entities
Calculate intercompany eliminations and currency translation adjustments
Assist with month-end close, audits, and GAAP financial statements
Reconcile investment holdings and prepare ad hoc reports
Qualifications:
CPA and bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2+ years’ experience in general ledger maintenance, month/year-end close, or public accounting
Management company experience and QuickBooks/Workday knowledge a plus
Strong Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
Detail-oriented, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
