Location: Dallas, Texas (Remote, U.S.-based)Duration: Through December 2025Compensation Range: $23-28/hr (W2)Our client is seeking experienced Proofreaders/Editors to support increased workloads during their busy season. This role is key to producing accurate, consistent, high-quality content for employee-facing materials in the insurance industry.Responsibilities: Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistency. Follow client-specific style guides and editorial standards. Work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines. Communicate with project managers to ensure timely delivery. Manage multiple assignments with shifting priorities. Qualifications: 2+ years of professional editing or proofreading experience. Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable working under pressure with quick turnarounds. Flexible availability between 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST, with occasional weekends. Reliable computer and internet access. Preferred: Experience with employee benefits, insurance, or regulated industries. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word (track changes).
