About The Role As a podiatrist in our FQHC, you’ll lead with kindness as you care for patient populations that include those who’ve had limited access to healthcare. You’ll use your skills and good judgment as you solve problems and drive change. You’ll report directly to the VP of Integrated Services and will collaborate with primary care physicians and leadership to implement meaningful patient care. Essential duties include:
- Collaborates closely with other healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
- Contributes to the overall well-being of our community by providing specialized care and addressing health disparities, and promoting healthy lifestyles in the community.
- Performs initial assessments and prescribes treatments and medications as necessary.
- Performs surgical procedures as determined in treatment plans.
- Provides on-call rotation coverage.
You will be primarily based at our Northwest location, 155 Lawn Avenue in Buffalo and our Mattina location, 300 Niagara Street in Buffalo

Education And Experience - Graduate of four-year podiatry school with a completed residency in an appropriate field.
- Experience in podiatric surgery strongly preferred
- Maintain current NYS podiatry license and be board eligible or certified in podiatry.
- Fluent in English. A second language of Spanish is preferred.
What We Offer Compensation: $181,000-$185,000, based on a full time, 40 hour work week
