Marcola Apartment Homes is a modern apartment community located in the heart of Springfield, offering a collection of thoughtfully designed studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes. Each apartment features contemporary finishes, including quartz countertops, plank flooring, air conditioning, and in-unit washers and dryers. Residents enjoy access to premium amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool and spa, community clubhouse, EV charging stations, and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. As our Leasing Agent, you'll be the welcoming face of Marcola—introducing prospective residents to their new home, guiding them through the leasing process, and delivering exceptional service every step of the way.

Leasing Agent - Marcola Apartment Homes

Location: Marcola Apartment Homes located at 2700 Pierce Parkway, Springfield, OR 97477

Property Size: 369 units

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/wk, Thursday through Monday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, 60-minute unpaid lunch

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, DOE (Eligible for monthly bonuses through Stratum’s Lease-up Incentive Bonus Plan , based on leasing performance, renewals, and resident engagement)

Classification: Non-exempt, eligible for overtime pay

Cell Phone Stipend: $50/month or $600/year

Leasing Agent Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective residents by learning their needs and guiding them through the leasing process.
  • Showcase the property by conducting tours and highlighting community amenities.
  • Process applications and prepare move-in and renewal documentation.
  • Maintain marketing efforts by updating listings, tracking leads, and creating activity reports.
  • Address resident concerns by investigating issues and providing resolutions.
  • Ensure property presentation by inspecting common areas, tour paths, and model units.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, including community surveys and outreach.
  • Support general property operations by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

What We’re Looking For In a Leasing Agent

  • Experience: Previous property management or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Tech: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, email, and digital platforms.
  • Interpersonal: High energy with a can do attitude! Ability to build positive relationships with prospective and current residents.

Physical Requirements: This position requires lots of enthusiasm with frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, and talking. Employees must regularly use repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and fingers to handle documents and operate office equipment. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs or stepstools, and pushing or pulling may be required. The role may involve working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, inspecting property grounds, and operating a golf cart. Motor skills and coordination are necessary to safely perform tasks, and the ability to remain focused and effective during periods of high stress is essential.
