Job Description

Prepare monthly closing entries (PTU estimation, fees, building policy, property tax, reclassification, indemnity, cafeteria and transportation services, department estimates, freight reclassification, customs expenses estimation, medical expenses policies, EIP/MIP bonuses, intercompany allocations, and derivatives posting).
Prepare various reports: scrap, sales, USA expenses, cost tracker, process PRs, fixed assets tracking, sales files, savings initiatives, reconciliations, cost recovery, CWIP USA and Mexico, ink receipts, USA closing entries, ETOP, EUST, and prorate reports, final sales reports.
Prepare monthly reconciliations.
Analyze plant expenses to support production goals.
Calculate unit cost and monthly overtime by department.
Process and ensure payment of public services (water, electricity, gas).
Perform monthly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
Request checks, cancellations, and expense verification.
Account for labor transfers between accounts and departments.
Maintain internal control of documents and audit supports.
Provide daily reports for tracking manufacturing account expenses and tool crib consumption.
Approve purchase requisitions according to the FCST, and assign proper accounts.
Account for payroll costs and provisions per period.
Review/Control T&E (Travel & Expenses), P-card (Purchase Card) reports, request/replace corporate credit cards if needed.
Perform month-end revaluation.
Ensure compliance with internal work regulations, internal control policies, environmental guidelines, SOX, US GAAP, Maquila, and quality requirements as per the quality system (EOS) at BorgWarner Torreon plant.
Download daily maintenance and indirect expenses information from SAP.
Prepare and send monthly forecasts, and load them into the One Stream platform.
Support cost savings activities with mfg, eng, PCL, and other areas.s.
Participate in training programs, safety and hygiene procedures, and promote a safety culture.

Ensure Data Checks for Mexican and American entities are zero.
