Description We are looking for a meticulous and reliable File Clerk to join our team in Bentonville, Arkansas on a contract basis. In this role, you will focus on digitizing sensitive and confidential documents, ensuring accuracy and security throughout the process. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a critical digitization project while honing your document management skills. Responsibilities: - Safeguard and organize confidential documents to prepare them for digitization, ensuring compliance with security protocols. - Operate scanning equipment and software to convert physical files into organized digital formats. - Maintain detailed records of digitized files, including names, formats, and storage locations. - Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks based on project deadlines and requirements. - Conduct quality checks on scanned files to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with scanning equipment or software as necessary. - Dispose of or archive physical documents securely following digitization, adhering to established protocols. - Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, labeling, and organizing files. - Handle outdated media formats, such as DVDs and film reels, for digitization when required. Requirements - Previous experience in a file clerk or digitization role, particularly in environments requiring confidentiality. - Proficiency with scanning equipment and document digitization software. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information. - Ability to manage confidential data with discretion and professionalism. - Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital file formats. - Experience with outdated media digitization, such as DVDs or film reels, is a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in document management is advantageous.
