Correctional Healthcare Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: Estancia, NM Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10s Days, Flexible Pay: $2081/week Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Correctional Healthcare Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate and professional nursing care within a correctional facility. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering care to incarcerated individuals while maintaining safety, security, and compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, resilience, and a strong commitment to patient advocacy in a secure and structured environment. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with facility protocols, state regulations, and professional standards. * Assess, monitor, and document patient health conditions, treatments, and responses. * Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. * Respond to medical emergencies, triage patients, and provide crisis intervention as needed. * Collaborate with physicians, mental health providers, and other healthcare professionals. * Educate patients on health management, chronic disease, and preventive care. * Uphold infection control, safety, and security procedures within the correctional setting.
