Job Description



The Associate Program Director plays a key leadership role in advancing the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program (RLP) by supporting strategic recruitment efforts, overseeing program operations, and leading retreat and liturgical planning. Reporting to the Associate Director of the RLP, this position is instrumental in ensuring a high-quality experience for prospective and current graduate students, from application through completion.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment, Admissions, and Enrollment

  • Partner with the Associate Director to design and execute strategic recruitment, application, selection, and enrollment processes.

  • Support a goal of at least 80 completed applications annually through proactive engagement and outreach.

  • Meet virtually and in person with prospective students across all stages of the admissions funnel to guide them through discernment and application.

  • Manage candidate interviews and facilitate selection processes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate integration of cohort data into program information systems.

  • Represent the program at recruitment events (on-campus, off-campus, and virtual) year-round.

  • Coordinate all logistical and communications aspects of recruitment events.

  • Maintain and utilize the Slate platform to manage and communicate with prospects and applicants.

  • Develop and update marketing materials, online applications, and the program's web and social media presence to attract top-tier candidates.

Academic Operations & Program Support 

  • Oversee digital tools and repositories central to the M.A. in Educational Leadership program (e.g., Watermark, Canvas, video storage systems).

  • Provide training and ongoing support for faculty and students in using these tools.

  • Track and prepare academic data to support program improvement and accreditation compliance.

  • Lead the input and analysis of assessment data and dispositional metrics each semester.

  • Coordinate academic meetings, faculty gatherings, and key events.

  • Manage logistics for domestic immersion trips, including communication with faculty, students, and site partners.

  • Maintain secure records of course grades and organize program data for internal review.

  • Collect and manage stakeholder feedback to support continuous improvement.

Retreat and Liturgy Planning 

  • Collaborate with the Associate Director and ACE Director of Pastoral Life to design and implement meaningful liturgical and spiritual experiences.

  • Lead planning for three annual retreats and all summer liturgies and prayer services.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal University units (e.g., Sacristy supply, Housing, Moreau Seminary, Sacred Heart Parish Center).

  • Chair the retreat planning committee and ensure all logistical and spiritual elements are aligned.

  • Develop and oversee retreat materials and ensure a coherent and enriching retreat experience across the three-year program.

ACE Leadership Conference

  • Assist in the planning and execution of the annual ACE Leadership Conference, contributing to event design, coordination, and logistics.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support the Associate and Program Directors with other responsibilities as needed to ensure the success of the program.
