This is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to build the future of beverage distribution and grow with a company that truly cares about its people. **Overview** The Distribution Driver Helper is responsible for assisting delivery drivers with assigned route delivery functions. **Primary Responsibilities** + Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers + Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner + Collect and return all payments as required + Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned + Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed + Ensure delivery logs are completed as required + Ensure check-in procedures are followed daily + Attend monthly safety meetings + Take only safety courses and other classes as needed + Report all moving violations to management + Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner, as needed within licensing requirements + Perform other related duties as assigned **Additional Primary Responsibilities** **Minimum Qualifications** + 1 year of experience + Must obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver s License + Experience in a warehousing environment **Physical Demands** + Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine + Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping + May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs **EEO Statement** Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
