As a **Security Supervisor - Armed** in **San Jose, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain authorized weapons while upholding high standards of professionalism. You will interact with the public, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. Our company values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we foster a caring culture that puts people first, working together with integrity to support a secure environment for all. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $26.23 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. + Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents. + Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services when required. + Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. + Support the enforcement of location policies and procedures to help maintain order. **Minimum Requirements:** + Must possess a valid armed security guard card/license as required by state law. + Active CA .40 caliber firearm permit + Must have at least 6 months of security experience. + Must have a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions. + Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
