Web Quality Assurance Tester

About this Position
We’re seeking a Web Quality Assurance Tester to join our team supporting enterprise web applications and corporate systems. In this role, you’ll perform manual testing, create and maintain test plans, and collaborate with development teams to ensure quality across web platforms. You’ll also identify process improvements, mentor junior team members, and support automation engineers with test case development.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing on complex web applications to ensure product quality.
• Develop, maintain, and execute web-based test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test new features, identify issues, and provide feedback.
• Write test cases for automation engineers and support automation frameworks.
• Mentor junior QA staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Job Skills/Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in web QA testing.
• Strong understanding of browsers, web technologies, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, BrowserStack.
• Some programming knowledge (SQL, C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestRails, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for web testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Additional Information
• Hands-on experience with web testing and defect reporting required.
• Automation exposure using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks a plus.
• Remote opportunity with quarterly in person team meetings
Pay Range
• Pay Range: $75k-80k salary
