URBN Talent Development Coordinator

Overview

The Talent Coordinator is an entry-level opportunity in the HR/Talent Development department at URBN and is responsible for supporting their team members and URBN employees.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with learning specialists to implement talent development initiatives, including onboarding, continuous development courses, leadership development, and early career programs (e.g., Summer Intern Program, Co-op Program, Leadership Training Academy, rotational training)
  • Support the successful delivery of programs organization-wide, handling logistics, planning, and reporting requirements
  • Support and manage communication strategies for departmental offerings, including writing compelling copy, coordinating with program contributors, and partnering with the Internal Communications team
  • Oversee setup and production of live and virtual training programs and events, creating an engaging and unique learning atmosphere
  • Assist team members, business partners, and internal clients with administration questions, needs, and feedback, ensuring a seamless and positive experience
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain the department email inbox
  • Support the administration of the Talent facing modules in UltiPro including Learning Management System (LMS) and Talent/Performance Management by uploading content, crafting copy, launching forms and courses, and recording learning history data
  • Assist team members, business partners, and internal clients with software-related questions or issues in Talent systems.
  • Create technical documentation and support articles for Talent Systems
  • Resolve tickets and deliver customer service through an HR Service Delivery (HRSD) platform
  • Maintain a comprehensive training calendar, minimizing same-day events and conflicts according to departmental standards
  • Provide general administrative support to the URBN Talent Development (TD) team
  • Complete alternative associated duties and tasks as designated or as they become perceptible

Job Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Zoom, and Slack
  • Education or relevant experience in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or Organizational Development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple tight deadlines and priorities, and be adaptive to change
  • Passion for URBN Brands and our diverse employee and customer populations
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering diversity and inclusion within the workplace, with a track record of supporting inclusive HR/Development practices

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
