We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SRMC-Sutter Roseville Med Center **Position Overview:** Under the direction of a licensed nurse, participates in the pt/family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, basic care skills, customer service skills, and clerical skills. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing _Required_ + Bachelor' degree _Preferred_ **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE** + **RN** - Registered Nurse of California - California Department of Consumer Affairs _Required_  or + **RN-IP** - Registered Nurse of California Interim Permit - California Department of Consumer Affairs _Required_ + **BLS** - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Associationor American Red Cross _Required_ **EXPERIENCE** + Minimum of six (6) months area specific acute care experience within the last two (2) years _Preferred_ **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** + Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills. + Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment. + Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required. **Job Shift:** Evenings **Schedule:** Per Diem/Casual **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Every other Weekend **Benefits:** No **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 0 **Employee Status:** Per Diem/Casual Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines. Pay Range is $28.73 to $35.04 / hour _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package._
