Job Description

Our company is rapidly growing, and we are seeking an experienced Title Insurance Conveyancer capable of clearing and processing real estate title searches in a Softpro Select software environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in title insurance or related fields, be well-versed in managing multiple files at a time, and be self-motivated to make contacts with multiple vendors, realtors, tax collectors, and other parties to clear files of any issues. • Research and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear title
• Work with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments, and with loan closer to prepare HUD-1 real estate settlement statements
• Responsible for the integration, generation, and clearing of title reports.
• Preparation of Deeds, Affidavits, and other documents as required per individual transaction.
• Communication with realtors, attorneys, buyers, sellers, mortgage reps, and others.
• Persistence is key to this position.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding communications, customer service, research, and analysis skills are preferred
• Proficient computer skills with numerous programs including MS Office is vital
• Preference is 1-3 years of experience in title processing, real estate transactions, or as a mortgage loan processor or title company pre-processor
• Some college is helpful; high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Certification as a notary public is not required but is appreciated
