Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 13 weeks (Contract)

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Pay Rate: From $24/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking  Sterile Processing Tech for an exciting Travel or Local job in  Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, clean, and disinfect instruments and equipment using proper manual and mechanical processes
• Operate decontamination equipment such as sonic washers, cart washers, and sterilizers
• Use universal precautions (gloves, face shields, protective gown) in the decontamination area
• Retrieve reusable instruments and equipment and transport to the Sterile Processing Department
• Unload instruments from washer sterilizers and distribute to appropriate workstations
• Assemble instrument trays and packs according to written instructions and proper protocol
• Check instruments for sharpness and proper functioning
• Apply sterilization wrappers correctly to maintain content integrity
• Load sterilizers with correct cycles and ensure proper sterilization
• Document sterilization information accurately and maintain inventory records

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Minimum 2 years Central Service experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
