Job Summary

Job Summary:  THE CONCESSIONS SCHEDULING SUPERVISOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING ALL PART-TIME CASHIERS AND BEER POURERS FOR EVETNS, ENSURING THE RIGHT PEOPLE ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME. THIS POSITION PLAYS A CRITICAL ROLE IN THE SUCCESS OF OUR GUEST EXPERIENCE BY MAINTAINING EFFICIENT STAFFING LEVELS DURING UTAH JAZZ GAMES, UTAH MAMMOTH GAMES, CONCERTS, AND OTHER EVENTS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, Manage, and publish schedules for all part-time cashier and beer pouring staff based on event needs and staffing levels. 
• Coordinate with Concessions managers to assess staffing requirements for each event. 
• Communicate shift assignments, changes, and updates to staff in a timely and professional manner. 
• Monitor staff availability and time-off requests; adjust schedules as needed to fill coverage gaps. 
• Maintain accurate records of scheduled hours, shift attendance, and no-shows. 
• Collaborate with HR to onboard new employees into scheduling systems.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and management for scheduling-related inquiries or issues. 
• Assist with check-in procedures during events. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit
• Must obtain valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate if 21 years or older.
• Experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or event operations preferred. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
• Proficiency in scheduling software (MyStaff, When I Work, Deputy, or similar platforms)
• Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment. 
• Familiarity with large-scale event environments or food & beverage operations is a plus. 
• Availability to work flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on events at the Delta Center.
• Must be able to work on-site in an office setting. 
• Other admin duties as assigned by management.
