Senior Python Developer
Location: Remote (UK-based)We’re hiring a Senior or Principal Python Back-End Engineer to join a small, senior team building the next generation of learning technology.
You’ll work directly with the CTO and experienced engineers on a fast-growing EdTech product that’s already in beta with real teachers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ship reliable, well-designed services, iterate quickly from classroom feedback, and help shape the platform’s technical direction.

What We’re Looking For (Must-haves)
5+ years of professional Python back-end experience in production environments.
LangChain in production — you’ve built and maintained LangChain flows (chains/agents/tools), and know how to test, observe, and harden them.
Experience leading projects or technical workstreams.
A builder mindset — curious, pragmatic, and excited by rapid iteration.
Nice to HaveExperience with LLMs (prompting, evaluation, tooling) and RAG patterns (indexing, chunking, retrieval quality).
FastAPI/Django, PostgreSQL, cloud (GCP/AWS), and containerisation (Docker).
Observability, performance tuning, and CI/CD best practices for data/AI-adjacent services.
