Job Description
ECU Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness is currently seeking two Athletic Training Program Managers.
Join our dedicated team at Campus Recreation and Wellness (CRW) as an Athletic Training Program Assistant! This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a medical office setting. CRW is committed to creating an environment of belonging and well-being and supports the Division of Student Affairs' commitment to purposeful well-being.
Responsibilities: Build and maintain a relationship with Athletic Training, Athletic First Responder, and Sport Programs staff
Assist with check in and check out process of patients in the Athletic Training Room Communicate/teach patients how to book appointments, complete required documentation
Provide first aid and CPR to patients and athletes
Assist with hands-free rehab exercises with patients as instructed by the AT
Answer the office phone professionally and assist the caller
Maintain full inventory of the Athletic Training Room
Monitor Athletic Training Room behaviors to ensure a safe and positive environment
Review and follow up with accident reports
Help with opening and closing procedures of the Athletic Training Room
Maintain organization of files on Microsoft Teams and paper files in the ATR
Assist with hiring and onboarding of Athletic First Responders
Promote CRW programs and services
Assist CRW Athletic Trainers
* The starting hourly rate will be $11.00/hour.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum GPA: 2.5
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team for a minimum of 10-15 hours
Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification and HIPAA and blood-borne pathogens training
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
