Job Description:

• Reporting to Tristan but supporting diff team
• Role could be looked at as more of a TPM
• Use Monday.com (not Jira)
• Business focused vs. Eng
• Facilitating ceremonies: standups, retros, everything in between
• Work closely with the 2 Journey Leads
• Journey lead = strategic force behind squad
• What are we trying to test
• Squad = how do you discover idea, validate, scale it. Very diff than BAU eng tasks, resolving bugs, intro new features.
• Squads focus will be more consistent vs. ecomm it was always changing.
• Focus more on discover, test, scale
• Work is a lot more project based, consistent cadence of identifying things, testing, delivering them
• There's very established process here, need this person to focus on Agile mindset, keep team moving forward
• SM for 2 squads
• Squads at TB = scrum team but more scrum team from business perspective
• More leading scrum but from business perspective vs. tech and prod
• Lead by Journey Lead
• Loyalty 3rd Party Delivery
• Variety of diff disciplines
• Tech Lead
• Insights Lead
• Restaurant Ops Lead

Technical Skills:

• Agile/Scrum principles
• Facilitation skills to run sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily scrums effectively
• Conflict resolution & stakeholder management
• Technical literacy
• Project management
• Prioritization & roadmap alignment - works closely with Product Owner(s) to balance short-term delivery and long-term goals
• Risk management - proactive in identifying and mitigating technical, resource, or compliance risks
• Excellent communication - can explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and business priorities to engineers
• Metrics & reporting
• Change management
• Tool proficiency - Monday.com, Jira
• Emotional intelligence
