We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists to serve as Clinical Leads within multidisciplinary inpatient treatment teams. These full-time roles are located at a state-operated, Joint Commission–accredited psychiatric care setting in the Long Island region of New York.
In this leadership role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered, recovery-focused psychiatric care for adults, including:
• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and admissions
• Developing individualized treatment and medication management plans
• Ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests and collaborating with clinical team members
• Providing individual and group psychotherapy
• Supervising psychiatric residents and fellows
This state-operated psychiatric care system delivers recovery-oriented services for complex mental health needs, offering a broad range of treatment modalities including behavioral therapies, animal-assisted programming, and ECT. The system maintains academic affiliations and offers training opportunities for psychiatry residents and fellows.

Minimum qualifications:
Psychiatrist 1: Active New York medical license and completion of an ABPN-approved psychiatry training program.
