Senior Product Manager – Financial Technology & Mortgage-Backed Securities

Locations: Pittsburgh, PA (4 days on site )

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, development, and execution of complex technology products that power key financial markets. You’ll be responsible for aligning product strategy with organizational goals, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing senior leadership across departments.

What You’ll Own:

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management for large, complex data and analytics platforms.
• Define and drive technical product strategy , from ideation to delivery, within a highly regulated financial landscape.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and business units to align development with real-world customer and market needs.
• Conduct discovery sessions and translate ambiguous problems into structured product roadmaps.
• Develop and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and definitions of done.
• Oversee product budgeting and resource allocation , ensuring initiatives are well-supported and positioned for success.
• Manage and resolve conflicting stakeholder requirements while maintaining product integrity and timelines.
• Partner with executives to evaluate tradeoffs between speed to market and feature depth .

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Own product strategy and translate business needs into actionable product roadmaps.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and user journeys using tools like Figma , Lucid , and Miro .
• Use customer feedback, usage analytics, and market research to iterate product direction.
• Run Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Perform usability testing to ensure the product meets quality standards and user expectations.
• Act as a subject matter expert in financial technology and mortgage-backed securities .
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Operations, UAT, clients) to keep products on track.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10+ years of product management experience, preferably in financial services or government tech .
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven success managing enterprise-scale products in a regulated industry.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management capabilities—able to juggle priorities and manage multiple timelines simultaneously.
• Experience with tools such as PowerBI , SQL , JIRA , Trello , Figma , Miro , Lucid , etc.

Preferred Experience:

• Deep understanding of mortgage-backed securities and/or securitization processes
• Background in government settings or public sector financial initiatives
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving product innovation and growth
