Responsibilities:
- Experience with coal-fired or gas power plant equipment and systems.
- Experience with power plant pollution control processes (FGD, SCR, ESP, Fabric Filters, MATS, SO3, etc.).
- Proficiency with plant information systems/software and remote monitoring.
- Working independently in the field.
- Managing responsibilities for several plants and/or systems.
- Performance monitoring and identifying performance issues.
- Troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Performing site walk downs and equipment inspections.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrating strong people skills and working productively in a plant environment.
- Quickly understanding new processes and system configurations.
- Working comfortably alone with limited direction.
