Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Identify and apply appropriate welding methods (MIG, TIG, etc.).
Receive work orders, organize and verify materials for compliance with specifications.
Plan job task sequence efficiently.
Operate shop equipment safely, including:
Saws, shears, cranes, hi-lo, grinders, hammers, and tape measures
Operate burning and welding equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
Set up welding equipment with proper gas type, flow, wire speed, and amperage.
Wear and maintain all required PPE, including:
Gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, ear protection, fire-resistant clothing, welding hood, and respirator (as needed)
Use welding lens shade appropriate for job tasks as per OSHA 1910.133.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality control standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Demonstrate regular, reliable attendance.

Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Optional extended shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (workload dependent)
Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as needed)
