Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using various techniques and tools.
• Inspect completed work for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

Salary info:

$22 - $24 / hr
