Job Description



Come help lead the strategy for Owala—the fastest growing hydration brand in the country. As a Brand Marketing Associate, you will help create purpose-driven brand/channel strategies and partner with experts across the 4Ps to assess, evaluate and execute strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Create purpose-driven brand/channel strategies for brands that drive significant and sustainable brand growth
  • Lead strategy execution of brand building, innovation, and/or business model ideas to hit financial and volume targets in collaboration with cross-functional team
  • Collaborate with experts across 4Ps to assess and evaluate solutions, orchestrate annual plan, and ensure execution across 4Ps is consistent with brand foundation
  • Understand consumers and work with data to unlock key business insights for product innovation and marketing messaging
  • Oversee demand planning to forecast by applying business insights
  • Lead commercialization of product initiatives that deliver annual brand plan
  • Partner with Sales to create compelling stories to profitably win with key customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (business, marketing, or related field) and/or 2+ years of work/internship experience
  • Background in: CPG Brand Marketing, Finance, Sales, Consulting, or other leadership development program experience (industry agnostic)
  • Skills: Financial acumen, strategy, leadership
  • Ability to think strategically, generate creative solutions, manage multiple projects, and achieve successful business results rapidly
  • Team player, capable of managing relationships across functional areas, and clear communication across different languages and cultures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • PC skills required, including experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytic ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action
  • Ability to strategically choose levers to balance short-term commitments and long-term brand health
  • Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers
  • Ability to identify and evaluate brand-building ideas across 4Ps and make connections across other brands in the portfolio
  • Ability to determine how to use 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals
  • Demonstrate comfort and capability with brands in all stages of growth
  • Ability to influence and inspire direct and cross-functional teams
