DevOps Engineer The Role Be responsible for AWS landing zone operation and closely collaborate with our cloud architects, application managers and DevOps teams on technical services. Drive continuous improvement and automation within an SRE adoption. Contribute to operate and improve cloud consumption models (Platform as a Service, Container as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, and Software as a service) that create the highest value for the Covestro. Foster the agile DevOps culture to improve customer satisfaction through rapid, continuous delivery and reliable operation. Contribute to manage the ecosystem of supply partners. Contribute to further develop and to operate on various platforms including Linux and Windows and support the implementation of the company-wide cloud strategy and the strategy for agile application development. Leverage the most benefits from cloud automation such Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or applying serverless technology to solutions where meaningful. Put security as priority one to all tasks and solutions. Integrate CI/CD technology as part of development cycle. Your Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud operations (preferably AWS). Strong experience in operating, designing and migrating applications on the AWS platform. Demonstrated expertise in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), virtualization platforms and various cloud platform setups like private, public and hybrid clouds. Demonstrated experience with incorporating automation technologies like IaC and capacity management principles. Demonstrated experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker as well as supporting distributed systems operating securely in cloud environments. Demonstrated success as a Cloud Engineer working with various platforms. Proven skills in LLM/AI adoption and AI use case implementation, including high expertise in prompt engineering. Experience in vendor and contract management skill.
