JOB DESCRIPTION ABC 13 WSET is seeking a dynamic full-time News Anchor. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding journalist with a great personality and strong leadership skills. Our anchors participate in planning newscasts, produce content, and engage with the audience regularly, including social media engagement. Collaboration and mentorship are key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will have: Strong leadership skills Energetic and pleasant delivery Excellent writing skills and news judgment Exceptional communication skills Team player mentality Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of on-air experience Experience in live commercial television Strong field and live skills Conversational writing style with exceptional communication skills Good editorial judgment and ethical standards Active social media presence with proven viewer engagement Participation in station-sponsored events Work hours: 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends and shifts as needed Please include a link to your online demo reel when applying online.
