At iHeartMedia we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace and are looking for teammates passionate about what we do! **What We Need:** iHeartMedia has a rare opening for a seasoned national anchor, which includes anchoring our NBC branded newscasts, among other areas of focus. **What You'll Do:** + Anchor national newscasts for top and bottom of the hour. + Provide newscasts for multiple local markets as needed. + Write clear, concise news copy. + Produce, edit and write content for 24/7 Newswire. + Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations. + Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the following shift. + May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed. + This person will also perform in-house reporting duties, produce content for national wire service and take on general newsroom assignments. **What You'll Need:** + Extensive "on-air" background; this is not an entry level role. + Proficient in media production and broadcast systems. + Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. + Candidates should have high standards for audio quality, strong on-air presentation skills and the ability to write radio broadcast style copy. **What You'll Bring:** + Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return + Full proficiency and understanding of job function + Open communication with colleagues and direct reports that encourages collaboration and team consensus + Strong problem solving skills + Efficiency with independent work under minimal guidance + Commitment to process improvement for overall team effectiveness + Professional communication that stresses diplomacy, empathy and patience **Location:** Phoenix, AZ: 4686 E.
