Position Overview:
We are currently seeking two dedicated Medical Insurance Collectors: one for Clear Behavioral Health and one for Neuro Wellness Spa. The successful candidates will be instrumental in ensuring streamlined and efficient billing and claims processes for each respective division.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Submit claims utilizing EHR Software.
- Call Insurance Payors to address denials.
- Review EOB's and submit appeals when necessary.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
- Responsible for data entry regarding insurance records and medical billing.
- Maintain client files related to insurance claims and payment.
- Review and analyze medical documentation, including coding and billing information.
- Utilize ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG codes for precise coding of medical procedures and diagnoses.
- Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and denials.
- Liaise with patients, insurance firms, and healthcare providers for billing inquiries and disputes.
- Accurately document all billing activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding or billing.
-Experience with billing, insurance collecting, patient collections with commercial health insurance payors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independent judgment.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, especially when dealing with a large volume of claims.
- Adept in reading and understanding insurance documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive both independently and within a team.
- Familiar with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
