Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin is looking for a full-time Medical Billing Specialist in Austin, TX. 

This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted job, and requires attention to detail. Please be organized, efficient with your time, familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Word & Excel), with a professional image. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of insurance benefits, cost estimation, and payment planning.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or financial counseling (orthopaedic or surgical setting preferred)
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance and medical terminology
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual is a plus

Schedule is Monday-Friday; no weekends. This is a fully in-office position to start with the option to work hybrid after 6 months.
