Job Title: Medical Biller

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our client and play a vital role in supporting their healthcare operations. This onsite, temporary-to-hire position based in Philadelphia, PA focuses on accurately processing billing for orthopedic and orthopedic surgery services while ensuring compliance with coding and diagnostic standards.

Compensation:

• $19 – $22/hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Biller:

• Process medical billing for orthopedic and orthopedic surgery services.
• Apply appropriate CPT codes and ICD-10 diagnoses.
• Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure accurate claim submissions.
• Review and correct billing discrepancies.
• Assist with insurance follow-ups and payment postings.
• Support other billing department activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Medical Biller:

• 1–4 years of relevant experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD-10 diagnosis requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
