Day in the Life: Keep Production Running Smoothly

Step onto the floor and start your shift with a safety check, a glance at the day’s job orders, and a hands-on setup of production equipment. As a Manufacturing Process Operator, you make sure quality products are ready when customers need them. Your work truly touches everyday lives.

Role Snapshot

• Set up production machinery and prepare supplies to meet job specifications.
• Operate machining, processing, assembly, or packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect machines to identify malfunctions, needed repairs, or part replacements.
• Perform routine maintenance to sustain output quality and capacity.
• Repair and clean equipment as needed; evaluate performance and suggest improvements.
• Assist junior operators with tasks and best practices.
• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to move equipment between the warehouse and production areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during equipment operation.

Pay & Incentives

• Starting pay: $21.82
• Evening & night shift differential: +$0.75
• Sign-on bonus: $1,000 paid as $500 after 90 days and $500 after 180 days

Shifts

• Evening: 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Night: 11:00pm–7:30am

What You’ll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings preferred.
• Willingness to work holidays and overtime as needed.
