Job Duties

• Perform basic and complex electrical/mechanical maintenance related tasks.
• Locate and correct electrical and plumbing problems at all Crown buildings facilities including, but not limited to manufacturing plants, office buildings, and guest facilities.
• Find, order, or make parts required to fix problems.
• Install and maintain all plant mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hoist equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).
• Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown's safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report all unsafe conditions and do not perform any unsafe acts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
• Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic and able to drive a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines; using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Read and understand electric, plumbing and building prints and diagrams, knowledge of the proper technical requirements and methods needed to complete electrical/mechanical maintenance tasks, basic math, reason, analyze and problem solving.
• Gather/analyze information and determine the best course of action.
• Use independent judgement to devise work methods according to general directives, policies, and existing procedures.
