Professional VisionCare is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and motivated licensed Opticians to join our thriving optometry practice! What You'll Do as an Optician:

As an Optician at Professional VisionCare, you'll receive  paid training to become an expert in assisting patients with their eyewear needs and more. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a warm, helpful, and positive experience to every patient.
• Assisting patients in selecting frames that suit their style and prescription needs.
• Confidently selling eyewear (glasses and contact lenses) by understanding and meeting patients' preferences.
• Ordering frames from manufacturers and managing eyewear inventory.
• Learning and performing procedures, such as taking eye photos.
• Dispensing eyewear orders and ensuring proper eyeglass adjustments and basic repairs.
• Scheduling future vision appointments for patients.
• Completing daily organizational and sanitization tasks.
• Conducting phone calls and working on a computer for extended periods.

What We're Looking For:

We're searching for someone who:

• Has their ABO or NCLE license
• Is intelligent, detail-oriented, and has a strong work ethic.
• Is reliable, dependable, and has an outstanding attendance record.
• Excels in providing friendly, caring, and thoughtful customer service.
• Is eager to learn new skills and work independently without constant supervision.
• Has exceptional communication skills and thrives in a team environment.
• Is available to work 5 full shifts each week, including Saturdays (with Sundays and one weekday off).
• Is flexible and willing to work at any of our 4 office locations (Westerville, Lewis Center, and Johnstown) as needed. Schedules are provided one month in advance.

Shift Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday-Saturday: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
