Here's how a(n) Human Resources Business Partner for our California Buildings office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**
+ Guides and coaches supervisors through progressive discipline process for entry to mid-level positions, including the development and delivery of performance improvement plans and/or progressive disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues up to and including termination.
+ Has demonstrated experience in executing employment investigations. Leads investigations, including communication/implementation of outcomes/decisions.
+ Provides guidance, coaching, and training on all aspects of career management and professional development.
+ Oversees student program strategy, enhances, and influences the program to align with district strategies. Maintains strategic relationships with academic institutions.
+ Responsible for the recruitment and onboarding programs needed. Leads recruitment process for senior-level positions. Utilizes appropriate recruitment sourcing strategies and builds strategic industry contacts to build a candidate pipeline.
+ Leads local market research and analysis for salary/bonus review cycle.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
+ Completion of HR designation preferred.
+ 7 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.
+ Supervisory experience an asset.
+ Able to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.
+ Able to interpret and analyze information and data and make recommendations.
+ Able to effectively manage a team comprising of entry-level human resources professionals.
+ Seen as a trusted advisor with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decisions makers.
+ Advanced organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.

The salary range for this position is between $122,000 to $158,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
