Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team. This position involves diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment , both in-shop and in the field. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in welding/fabrication , electrical troubleshooting, and diesel systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, drivetrains, suspensions, and trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and wiring issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and DOT inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed for structural and component repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software (provided) to analyze and resolve complex issues.
• Respond to mobile service calls and perform repairs in the field.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty technician.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication (MIG, stick, cutting torches, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, trailer repairs, and diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and in varying environments (shop and mobile).
• Own tools required (diagnostic equipment provided by company).
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
