Job Summary:

The Hearing Instrument Specialist will play a critical role in our mission to provide exceptional hearing healthcare to our patients. In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating, fitting, and dispensing hearing aids to patients. You will also educate patients on hearing aid use and maintenance, as well as provide ongoing support and adjustments to ensure the best hearing experience. It will be essential to build strong relationships with patients and maintain a high level of customer service to promote patient satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for patients.
  • Recommend and fit hearing aids based on individual needs and lifestyle.
  • Provide individualized counseling and education on hearing loss, hearing aid use, and maintenance.
  • Perform hearing aid repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records while adhering to all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Stay current with the latest developments and advancements in hearing technology.
  • Build strong relationships with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve company goals and objectives.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hearing Instrument Sciences or related field.
  • Valid state Hearing Instrument Specialist license or eligibility.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fitting and dispensing hearing aids.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Passion for helping others and improving their quality of life.
