Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. _Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as an Electronic_ **_Technician 3_** _based out of_ **_Rolling Meadows, IL._** _The selected candidate will perform routine technical functions related to supporting the design, assembly, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems used in mission-critical applications. In this role, you will work hands-on with electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and test equipment to ensure systems meet performance and quality standards. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work._ _The selected candidate will work primarily during the 2nd or 3rd shift hours._ **_What You'll Get to Do_** **_:_** + _Perform functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and repair of LITENING targeting Pods and subassemblies_ + _Operate specialized test stations and test equipment._ + _Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment._ + _Execute test procedures, record data, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and military standards._ + _Maintain test documentation, calibration records, and ensure compliance with safety and ESD protocols._ + _Support root cause analysis of test failures and assist with data collection and corrective action implementation._ + _Assist with environmental testing and system-level verification._ + _Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and security standards_ **_*****NOTE:_** **_Must be available to work an off-shift schedule (2nd or 3rd shift). *****_** **_Basic Qualifications for_** **_Electronic Technician 3_** : + _High School Graduate and 4 years of related experience or:_ + _Electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school_ + _Experience in military or aerospace manufacturing or depot environments._ + _U.S. Citizen_ **_Preferred Qualifications for_** **_Electronic Technician 3_** **_:_** + _Familiarity with testing or maintaining similar electro-optical/infrared targeting systems_ + _Familiarity with avionics systems interfaces._ + _Knowledge of automated test systems and data acquisition software._ + _Experience with SAP/GOLD._ _MANUMS_ Primary Level Salary Range: $63,500.00 - $105,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
