SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for various communications and public relations initiatives for the Children’s Trust of Alachua County. This position supervises a Communications Specialist, monitors assigned projects, and creates, implements, and oversees CTAC’s internal and external communications and branding activities.

■ Understanding of local and state political processes.
■ Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
■ Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and data entry in various ledger platforms
■ Ability to come to work consistently (attendance)
■ Ability to work as directed and collaboratively
■ Ability to get to work on time (punctuality)
■ Ability to get along with co-workers
■ Ability to work well with others and build effective working relationships with team members.

The workplace is a comfort controlled open office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When outside the office the work environment, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
