About this Role

We are looking for a highly creative and mission-driven Design & Social Media Manager to support One League's global communications, brand presence, ads, and outreach initiatives. The Design & Social Media Manager will report directly to the One League Chief of Staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the fore-front of building a new education institution, working in collaboration with the world's top-ranking universities, to democratize world-class education for the world's best talent in the millions. 

The Design & Social Media Manager will play a central role in developing compelling visuals, storytelling, and campaigns that amplify One League's mission worldwide and share the stories of extraordinary changemakers driving audacious projects across 60+ countries. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Lead the creation of digital visual assets across platforms (ads, brochures, social media, email banners, website graphics, and campaign collateral) aligned with One League's brand guidelines. 
  • Support communications outreach , with a particular focus on admissions marketing campaigns and paid media assets, including the design of visuals and drafting complementary copy. 
  • Copywriting for multi-channel communications , including: 
    • Social media captions across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook 
    • Email campaign flows for diverse audiences, including prospective applicants, partners, and alumni 
    • Short-form storytelling pieces highlighting One League fellows 
  • Develop narrative-driven content that elevates the voices and stories of global changemakers, including refugees, first-generation scholars, and individuals overcoming systemic barriers. 
  • Manage and schedule social media content , maintaining a consistent publishing rhythm and adapting messaging to platform-specific contexts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams —Admissions, Marketing, Alumni Relations, Student Success—to support integrated campaigns and ensure cohesive branding. 
  • Propose creative ideas and strategies to strengthen One League's global brand presence and advance our mission of democratizing world-class education.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in design, social media, or digital communications 
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or equivalent 
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, on-brand copy 
  • Experience creating digital ads and social media assets preferred 
  • Experience working in mission-driven organizations or with global audiences a strong plus 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
