Job Description

1. Support the Manufacturing Excellence Manager/Head in developing and executing the operational excellence roadmap .
2. Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives across production lines.
3. Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks and improve process flows.
4. Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
5. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through process standardization and line readiness.
6. Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (OEE, downtime, cycle time, rejection, rework).
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, R&D).
8. Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS standards .
9. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions.
10. Benchmark best practices from the automotive industry and deploy them at the plant.
11. Train and mentor operators, engineers, and line leaders on operational excellence tools and practices .
12. Support audits, certifications, and compliance related to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other quality systems .
13. Ensure sustainability of improvements by implementing standard work and monitoring systems.
