Adecco is currently assisting our client in Ontario, CA hire an experience Van driver for their warehouse. This is a great temp-to- hire job opportunity with great Monday-Friday Schedule. Schedule: Monday - Friday : 7:00 am- 3:30 pm **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** + Safe Driving - Operate the company van safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. + Timely Deliveries - Plan and manage routes effectively to complete deliveries on schedule throughout Ontario and surrounding areas. + Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload manufactured goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. + Packing Slip Management - + Collect Signatures: Ensure that each delivery includes a properly completed packing slip with the customer's signature as proof of delivery. + Verification: Cross-check that the details on the packing slip match the delivered items. + Documentation: Securely file the signed packing slips and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor immediately. + Documentation - Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or issues encountered. + Occasionally use pallet jacks to move or transport heavy items safely. + Customer Service - Provide excellent service by interacting professionally with customers, addressing any delivery-related questions or concerns. + Vehicle Maintenance - Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on the van. Promptly report any mechanical or safety issues to management. + Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times. + Compliance - Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and local/state/federal laws related to transportation and delivery services. + Wear the company-provided uniform at all times during work hours to maintain a professional and consistent company image. **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
