Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Governance Process Analyst with our client in the financial industry, located in Addison, TX, Chicago, IL, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Examine complex data to optimize efficiency and quality, resolve data quality problems, and collaborate with enterprise-level data management teams. Contribute to capturing and managing data dictionaries, data lineage, and metadata within the Metadata Repository. Support data use governance activities, ensure adherence to Enterprise Data Management policies, and track and resolve data quality issues. Analyze, query, and manipulate data according to business rules and procedures. Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems, assessing their business impact. Ensure compliance with data quality standards and determine root causes for errors, recommending long-term solutions. Evaluate large datasets for quality and accuracy, and identify/remedy production defects. Recommend, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective actions to meet quality assurance standards. Monitor data quality continuously. Requirements: Strong skills in Data Management and Metadata Analysis. Understanding of Data Governance principles. Experience with complex business processes, focusing on data. Effective communication skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders and leadership. Approximately 60% business process/operational and 40% data governance experience. Knowledge of Data Quality and Controls measurement. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Motivated learner with proactive work ethic. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfort in delivering messages to diverse audiences. Leadership qualities to work effectively across management levels.
