Address: 3 World Trade Center, New York, NY 10007 Description: Hudson River Trading LLC seeks a Corporate Action Analyst to: Collaborate with counterparties to settle corporate action proceeds from fails and stock loan borrow contracts, manage and communicate risk around events and liaise with our Algo, Compliance, and Operations teams to optimize processes (5%). Administer, test, and implement corporate action databases, applying knowledge of database management systems and data analysis (25%). Implement enhancements to posttrading platforms and databases utilizing Linux operating system (10%). Utilize distributed, scalable analytical tools and distribution systems to support posttrade reporting and the integration of trading data (10%). Apply statistical and financial engineering techniques to analyze posttrade data and utilize SQL and relational databases to identify issues and perform root cause analysis on problematic corporate action processing to increase automation (30%). Utilize risk management systems and financial models to analyze corporate action events from external data sources while verifying the technical and mathematical accuracy of the data (15%). Identify and review stock and cash reconciliation discrepancies, daily, and ensure all issues are properly resolved (5%). Qualifications: Position requires Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Asset Management, Financial Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or a closely related field, plus six (6) months of experience in the position offered, Quantitative Financial Analyst, Trader, US Equity & ETF, or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience analyzing transaction data, settlement risk, clearing, trade reconciliations, securities borrowing and complex lending. Experience developing automation scripts using Python and SQL to monitor trading strategies, daily trade positions and profit and loss. Experience with DTC and OCC portals. Experience debugging queries and scripts to automate operational tasks. Experience with Corporate Action and dividend processing.
