Address: 3 World Trade Center, New York, NY 10007 Description: Hudson River Trading LLC seeks a Core Developer to: Develop and maintain proprietary software tools in C++ and Python to monitor and control a low-latency blended hardware and software trading system (60%). Troubleshoot systems in software and hardware in order to resolve operational issues (20%). Produce testing harnesses and processes in C++ and Python (10%). Implement market-specific handlers in C++ to parse data into a format that can be ingested for statistical analysis, and to send and receive order and execution information with markets and trading interfaces (10%). Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus one (1) year of experience in the position offered or Software Engineer or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience working with Python, Ruby, Java or Golang and AWS, GCP or Azure. Experience implementing industry standard design patterns. Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems built with open-source tools. Experience using SQL and related query languages to perform data analysis.
