Job Description

A growing bank here in Oklahoma City is looking for a Commercial Loan Processor to join their team. This role is responsible for processing and managing commercial loan files from origination to closing, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate commercial loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Confirm eligibility based on program guidelines and underwriting requirements.
  • Organize and maintain loan files throughout the origination and closing process.
  • Ensure all required documentation is collected, recorded, and properly filed.
  • Maintain updated and accurate pipeline reports.
  • Prepare and generate necessary loan documents and disclosures, including commitment letters, credit memos, term sheets, and closing checklists.
  • Verify supporting documents such as financial statements, tax returns, insurance, legal entity documents, UCC filings, and appraisals.
  • Act as a liaison between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, credit analysts, attorneys, title companies, and other third parties.
  • Schedule and coordinate closing dates, document signings, and funding logistics.
  • Communicate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
  • Ensure all loans are processed in accordance with internal policies, federal and state regulations, and lending compliance standards (e.g., CRA, BSA, OFAC, HMDA).
  • Assist in quality control reviews and audits, providing requested documentation and explanations.
  • Confirm all loan conditions and stipulations are satisfied prior to closing.
  • Prepare funding memos, disbursement instructions, and coordinate wire transfers as needed.
  • Conduct post-closing reviews to ensure file completeness and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial loan processing or related lending operations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial loan products, documentation, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience using Fiserv Loan System
  • Proficiency in loan processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple loan files simultaneously and meet deadlines.
