Position Description

The role of Clinical Sample Analysis Specialist at Olink is to provide customers with high-quality analysis and service using Olink’s products. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses using Olink’s products within routine Analysis Service in compliance with Olink’s internal regulations.
    • Handle, analyze, and process laboratory samples (small to large sample sets) with high quality and per established protocols.
    • Work independently within our small team, and collaborate effectively with other employees and internal and external customers.
    • Understand and work according to processes and techniques concerning Analysis Service and basic understanding of related disciplines.
    • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the lab.
    • Work according to established methods and processes and actively maintain documentation and systems within the unit’s quality system.
    • Communicate with internal customers and provide customer service-focus on all aspects of the work.
    • Collaborate with more experienced Research Associates to solve technical or sample-related issues and customer or general problems.
    • Take on additional projects and tasks at the request of the manager.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher within the Life Sciences field or similar.
  • One or more years of documented experience in laboratory work preferred, with large sample cohorts and service organizations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day tasks.
  • Experience in laboratory work, preferentially routine work with large sample sets, and service organizations. 
  • Thorough, self-motivated, and proactive team player interested in working across teams and disciplines. 
  • Documented experience in Microsoft Office programs and an ability to learn other software and systems. 
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both oral and written.
