POSITION : Civil CAD Designer
PAY RATE : $70,000 - $100,000+ per year with benefits ( dependent on experience )
WORK HOURS : Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
LOCATION: Fort Collins Preferred, Lakewood Office Optional
 
Job Description :
Forte Dynamics is a consulting and engineering firm that specializes in mineral resource and reserve estimation, mine planning, blasting analysis, metallurgy, process design, recovery modeling, basic and detailed engineering, and construction management services.

We are seeking a Civil CAD Designer with 5-10 years of experience . This person will work with our CAD design team and our engineering team. Work focus will be on general CAD design including grading, pumping and piping, site layouts, equipment layouts, plan and profiles, cross sections, P&ID’s, and drawing package development for project work. Project work would also expand into 3D models in Navisworks, Sketch-up, and other software to overlay design in Google Earth and other platforms to integrate design into real world in 3D model.

Responsibilities :

• Aid in the production of complete and accurate design drawings
• Interact and communicate with project team
• Learn and apply new or upgraded software
• Provide excellent customer service 

 
Skills/Experience/Qualifications :

• Drafting: 5+ years (required)
• AutoCAD: 5+ years (required)
• Civil 3D or Plant 3D: 5+ years (preferred)
• Experience with detail design for construction projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, dependability, and work ethic
• Proven design capabilities with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and work effectively as a team member
• Ability to work in a fast paced and fluid environment
• Ability to take direction well and learn quickly
