About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief People Officer to join their mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive people strategy that supports the business's growth and creates an environment where the team can thrive. This player/coach role involves leading the people team in all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, benefits, compensation, performance management, and organizational design. The Chief People Officer will also be a key member of the executive team, providing input on the people and HR implications of major business decisions and ensuring that the organization's culture and mission are integral to its success. Applicants for the Chief People Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, with an advanced degree and HR certification preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience as an HR executive in high-growth, evolving environments is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in the education sector. The role demands a hands-on leader with a proven track record in building and leading a people function, experience in a private equity-backed environment, and a focus on both business financial targets and social impact. The ideal candidate will have experience with mergers and acquisitions, a performance-driven culture, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
